Refund Policy

We want you to love Kova — and if you don't, we'll make it right. We refund billing errors (any time), unused subscriptions (within 7 days), and cases where something's broken and we can't fix it. Account credit is also available if you'd prefer. Email legal@kovaprompts.com and we'll respond within 48 hours.
WHEN WE'LL REFUND YOU
We'll issue a full refund in these cases:
- Charged in error — duplicate charges, wrong plan selected, accidental re-subscription, or any charge you didn't authorize. Refunded any time, no window.
- You subscribed but haven't used it — if you've paid and haven't exported any packs, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we'll refund the charge. No questions asked.
- Something's broken and we can't fix it — if a critical feature fails and we can't resolve it within a reasonable timeframe, we'll refund your current billing period.
ACCOUNT CREDIT INSTEAD
Cash refund isn't always the best option — especially if you might want to come back later, or you're switching plans rather than leaving. We can issue account credit instead:
- Credits are added to your Kova account and apply to any future charge
- They don't expire as long as your account is active
- Just mention in your refund email that you'd prefer credit
- You can still convert to a cash refund later if your plans change
Some customers also ask for credit when they've already exported a pack or two but the subscription isn't right for them long-term. We're flexible — tell us the situation.
WHAT OUR REFUND POLICY DOESN'T COVER
A few situations fall outside — mostly where digital delivery makes reversal impractical. Even here, we're usually willing to discuss credit:
- You've already exported multiple packs — PDFs you've downloaded are yours forever, which means we can't "un-deliver" the value. If this is you but you still want to talk, email us — we can often offer credit toward a future billing period.
- You've been using the product for a while and now want historical charges reversed — standard practice for digital subscriptions with immediate delivery
- Prior billing periods that have closed — we can always stop future billing (see Cancellation below), but we don't reverse charges from periods that have already passed, except in the error cases above
HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
- Email legal@kovaprompts.com with "Refund request" in the subject line
- Include the email address on your account, approximate date of purchase, and a brief reason
- Mention whether you'd prefer cash or account credit
- If you purchased through Lemon Squeezy, you can also request a refund directly via the Lemon Squeezy customer portal — the link is in your original receipt email
- We respond to every refund request within 48 hours
WANT TO CANCEL INSTEAD?
Cancellation is different from a refund. Cancelling stops future charges but doesn't reverse past ones. You keep access until the end of your current billing period, and any packs you've already exported are yours forever.
To cancel your subscription: use the Lemon Squeezy customer portal (link in any Kova receipt email) or email legal@kovaprompts.com.
YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS
If you're in the EU (GDPR / Consumer Rights Directive), UK (UK GDPR), California (CCPA/CPRA), or Brazil (LGPD), you may have additional statutory refund rights under local law. For EU/UK digital-content purchases specifically, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal unless you explicitly waived it at checkout.
These statutory rights supersede this policy where applicable. Email legal@kovaprompts.com with details of your situation and we'll respond within 30 days.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we update this policy, we'll bump the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we'll notify existing subscribers by email. We won't retroactively reduce your rights without notice.
